Something Good Can Work

I am very proud to say that I made this outfit myself!!! I bought this material a while ago for about £1 from the charity shop, and designed this pattern to make from it, and I'm super pleased with the result!

I really loved this pink leafy pattern, and I wanted to make something that was vintage inspired but that I could wear on girls nights out as well as on hot summer days. It was a bit of a fiddly project but I'm glad I took the time and effort to finish it off!

I'm sorry that this post was rather short and sweet, I've started a new job this week so everything is pretty manic at the moment! I'm hoping to get into a more structured routine soon!

Lots of love,

  1. Good for you for completing this adorable outfit- I love the fabric that you chose! And I'm glad that you tackled separates instead of going for a simple dress. The whole crop top/high-waisted skirt style is so perfect for the summer! I absolutely love sewing and you're inspiring me to get back to my machine and make myself something before summer is over!
